The simplest things
Stan doesn’t really say I love you a lot. And if he does, he usually reserves it for when he kisses me goodbye before going home at the end of the day, before leaving on a trip and the last phone call we have right before we go to sleep.
But he sure has some pretty cute ways to make up for it. Like today…
Stan just arrived from Singapore today and I picked him up at the airport. As soon as he got in the car, he whipped out a small heart shaped box with the words “I ♥ U” on the box with little heart shaped chocolatse wrapped in shiny red foil inside.
My heart just melted.
