is it just me or is having babies becoming the fastest growing trend? it all started with katie and tom then brad and angelina and now marc anthony and j.lo will soon be hearing the pitter patter of little feet around the house. and cebu, not one to be left behind in the fast paced world of trends and gossip has its own share of baby boomers including all of my cousins who've suddenly all got hitched within the past year and have gotten quite "busy".
i bumped into one of them at stans store and she was proudly strutting around with a huge belly and talking excitedly about having to buy her new baby a wardrobe. "my brother has two girls, and mayik (our other cousin) has a son now. i'm about to give birth anytime soon. and how about you? when are you planning to have a baby?"
babies are serious business. first you need a husband ...or a willing sperm donor with a lifelong pledge to buy your baby louie vutton strollers and baby guess underwear... and then you need to look like a cow for about 9 months. and then, you have to deal with midnight wakings, crying in the wee hours of the morning, vaccinations, diapers, rashes etc etc etc.
so hmmm... i think i still need to work on the husband part before anything else.
