coffee and poached eggs

against my usual good judgment, i had a grande iced mocha from starbucks with next to nothing in my tummy yesterday. needless to say, i was hyper hyper hyper. so much so that it felt like a bad trip from hell. i was wide eyed with shakey hands and my heart felt like it was going to come out of my chest.

it took a bikini wax, dinner at nonki and ice cream for dessert with ren and judd to finally calm me down to normal levels.

also...

i learned how to make poached eggs. i tried it for lunch and it really works! it's pretty good too.

according to judd and ren, here's how to poach eggs:

you'll need:
a small pot of boiling water (the more bubbles the better)
about 3 tablespoons of vinegar
an egg
a sprinkle of salt

when you have a nice pot of boiling water with the vinegar mixed in, break the egg open on the water. wait till the egg comes together and turns white. when this happens, scoop it out and salt to taste.

i had it with chorizo and rice for lunch. pretty good.
