saturday afternoon and we're hanging out in his house as usual. i'm watching tv on the couch and he's rummaging through his stuff looking for something. then he smiles and laughs and comes over to me with a white envelope in hand.
him: it's your card!
me: my card?
him: i bought this for you in the states for valentines but i forgot all about it. better late than never right?
so here i am, holding a "be my valentine always" card 17 days late from valentines, grinning from ear to ear.
he sure knows how to make my day.
